Vark Questionnare

For the Vark questionnare i scored as follows:

• Visual - 8
• Aural - 5
• Reading - 2
• Kinetic - 4

this shows that i am a visual learner which did not surprise me as i already knew my learning style from previously doing a similar type of personal development task in my BTEC course on which i had to do 2 other learning assessment tasks. I thought however i would score higher on the kinetic than i did though as i am a very hands-on learner.

My Mentor (E-tivity 1a)

I was asked to find a mentor that was preferably in the field of work I wished to get into and not the immediate family and because of this as well as many other things, I chose to make my mentor my cousin who was working for IBM and is living in Canada. I also emailed him letting him know I was going to university and he told me he was proud and if any help was needed with university life etc. he would be happy to help me any time.

Hi, my name is Tony and my decision to go to university was to better my chances of reaching my goal of becoming a network administrator. The decision to take up this career path was decided 3 years ago on a holiday to Canada where I met my cousin who is an expert in this field of work and showed me the ropes.
